Alejandro Perea
I majored in Interactive Media Design with 4 years of experience in UX/UI Design. I studied for 6 years in Icesi University in Cali, Colombia. I’ve been working in different areas and projects mainly on Mobile Design and User Experience ever since I graduated. I worked for a Startup called GifPlug on where I helped them designing their mobile app.
In 2016 I got hired by Augusta HiTech, an engineering solutions company. I was responsible for designing the UI’s, wireframes and prototypes for the different clients. I had to attend pretty often to video call meetings with the clients and developers to provide guidance and follow up with the status of the projects. This gave me experience dealing with both sides and understanding the process from black and white mockups to functional and final applications.
Then in March 2018, I joined Night Owl LLC one of the biggest CCTV companies in the country on which until this day I work for. I am responsible for the mobile apps and DVR/NVRs firmware UI/UX.
Besides having professional experience in this branch of Design, I also love photography and video making. On which I use them as a medium to keep creating and expressing myself.
